SMC 1521 Complex Cebu


A Daytrip in one of San Miguels brewery plant, located at the heart of Mandaue City, Cebu.  This complex has all the state of the art technology in terms of manufacturing the best beer and healthy fruit drink brands in the country yet its 1521 Center remain as a symbol of Filipino crafts, architecture and design.  Some says, not everyone has the oppurtunity to visit the place, but I was lucky to be invited by the area sales manager of the San Miguel Foods Incorprated, along with my partners, to discuss with them the importance of analytics with regards to their decision making.


Analytics was a system designed by the San Miguel Information Technology Systems a subsidiary of the SMC group of companies.  This system will help the different distributor of SMFI to facilitate strategic planning and decision making.


Inside the complex, you could have the oppurtuniy to take some photography with some of the SMC products with it's old packaging [say 70's, 60's, 50's, 40's and older].  Aside from that, before you get through the heavy wood doors of the center, you could also take a picture with the background of the SMC logo and at the same time enjoying the view of the Mandaue City has to offer.
